Marlborough Wine Festival

Every summer, Marlborough hosts its famous wine and food festival at Montana's Brancott Estate site at Fairhall. The event attracts visitors from all over New Zealand, and indeed the world, and is the main event on the region's wine calendar.

The event is a great opportunity to sample wine from the wide range of regional wineries in one location, as well as sampling the cuisine of the region, while being entertained by a variety of great New Zealand music acts.

In addition to the festival itself, held on a Saturday, various peripheral events occur around the main event, including opportunities for fine dining, and a street market in Blenheim the day before the festival.

2008 marks the 25th anniversary of the Marlborough Wine Festival,  and will be held on 9th of February.
