Gentianella corymbifera or grassland gentian is an endemic flowering plant found in alpine grasslands east of the Main Divide. Flowering from summer to early autumn (December to March). In Marlborough it can be found in throughout Molesworth. It is unpalatable to livestock so is able to thrive in grazed areas where stock reduce competition from grasses.
This example was observed at Isolated Flat within the Molesworth area.
