Vonny Paul is a mostly self taught visual artist with moments of impressionism. She has been painting since a child, with a mother who was an artist, and started painting more seriously since coming to Blenheim 12 years ago. She works in oil, pastel and acrylic, with works covering a range of subjects and types, but with a specific focus on landscapes, (in love with the Withers at the moment) seascapes, figures and still life.
Vonny has exhibited works in Kaikōura, Nelson and Blenheim. She is current working on painting a selection of works for display at the “Spike” gallery in Whangarei.
