Bothams Bend Track

Botham’s Bend Track is a short, flat 1.8km (3.6km return) walking and cycling track that runs along the true left of the Wairau River from the Ferry Bridge at Spring Creek, to the north end of the Marlborough Equestrian Park, near the entry to the Wairau Diversion.

Parts of the track are planted in native species, however the river side of the track contains a considerable amount of willows and weedy species such as old mans beard.

Dogs are allowed off leash on the track, however caution needs to be taken to ensure they don’t escape into the Marlborough Equestrian Park, as this is an on-leash area.

Car parking is available immediately downstream of the Ferry Bridge on Wairau Bar Road.
