Sutherland stream reserve is a flood protection reserve in Blenheim that begins at the northern entrance to Wither Hills Farm Park and continues to Alabama Road. A walkway follows the stream bed which although normally dry, can fill up quickly in heavy rain.

The reserve provides an excercise area for people people and dogs, and also serves as a convenient pedestrian connection between various streets the area. Mountain bikes are permitted in the reserve,

The walkway is unpaved, so can be muddy after rain. Both native and exotic plantings form boundaries in various parts of the reserve.
