George Powell Reserve is a small reserve between Regent Place and Fyffe Street.

In the mid 1980s, farm land, formerly used for grazing sheep at the south end of Scott Street was subdivided to create Regent Place, and an extension to Fyffe Street. A section of the subdivision was retained as a small reserve. It connects to a right of way through to Mountain View Road and on to Weld Street, which provides a convenient walking route to and from Witherlea School. Part of the reserve is a drainage channel for water in case of heavy rain. Dog exercising is permitted in the reserve as long as dogs are kept on a leash. The reserve is planted with a mix of native and introduced trees, shrubs, and grasses, and has a set of swings.

The reserve is named after a former resident and landowner prior to the land being subdivided. George Powell's cottage still stands at 104 Wither Road.

The reserve is managed by Marlborough District Council.
