Drooping Spleenwort (Asplenium flaccidum) is a fern native to New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific, typically found in semi-shade from coastal areas to the bush line. It is widespread throughout New Zealand, commonly growing as an epiphyte in forested areas, but also found on the ground.
This example was observed in Queen Charlotte Sound along the Queen Charlotte Track, amongst original mixed beech and podocarp forest.
