A few of Marlborough's places in te reo Māori

Marlborough has a lot of Māori heritage, with some place names well known (but often mispronounced) while others are perhaps less well known due to Pākehā names being more widely used, but with some interesting stories behind them. Because te reo Māori is a spoken language, rather than just writing an article with some photos about some of the local Māori place names, I've had a go and actually recorded a video presentation. You'll notice I'm a bit slow at times, and maybe I don't always get my pronunciation correct, but at least I've had a go, and hopefully this inspires you to discover more for yourself about local history.
The list of places I've picked is maybe a little bit arbitrary, based on where I've been and photographed, so there are certainly plenty more, but it's a start.
