St. Lukes Church in Ferry Road, Spring Creek, serves the Spring Creek Anglican Parish. It was consecrated on the 22nd of October 1890 by Bishop Suter of Nelson, making the building one of the oldest churches in Marlborough to continue to hold weekly Sunday services, with a number of other rural churches having been either deconsecrated, or holding services only monthly or fortnightly.

The church has been extended several times during the course of history, with a chancel added in 1906, a stained glass window was provided by members of the Chaytor family in 1918. As part of a project to commemorate the church 50th Jubilee, the church was extended by 12 feet (about 3.6m) in 1940 and a vestry room was added.

Electrical lighting was added in 1929, and in 1940 along with church extensions, the exterior was coated with 'Steelex' concrete coating to reduce maintenance.

In 1978 St. Lukes was given a class C classification by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.

In October 2015, the church commemorated 125 years of continuous use, with a special service with former vicar Eric Sears. As part of commemorations, on behalf of the Spring Creek Parish Vestry, Glenys Woolley has produced a book providing a detailed history of the church, available to purchase.
