Marlborough Multicultural Festival 08
On Saturday, 29 March 2008, we held our third successful Mutlicultural Festival in Pollard Park. It was a great follow-on from the previous year.....
On Sunday, March the 18th 2007, the second annual Marlborough Multicultural Festival was held to celebrate Race Unity Day. Organised by the Marlborough Migrant Centre with the help of a team of dedicated volunteers, the festival provided a fun family day out at Pollard Park, while celebrating some of the cultural diversity that exists in Marlborough.
Performances were provided by a wide range of ethnic groups and the event attracted a good crowd.
The Multicultural Festival is the biggest event on the Marlborough Migrant Centre's calendar with a great deal of planning and behind the scenes work to make the event possible.
