The Marlborough Migrant Centre is a not-for-profit community organisation supporting migrants and newcomers; and the wider local community.
Our vision is to ensure Marlborough is a place where both migrants and local people can celebrate their diversity in a welcoming, safe environment.
The MMC is a central place where:
- newcomers to the region can access information and services
-service providers can obtain assistance with migrant matters.

We are meeting on the grassed area next to the children's playground.
Bring your family and friends and some food to cook on the BBQ (barbeque).
If you have a sewing machine, then please bring it. Bring along your sewing and your material, or your knitting needles and wool, or your craft project. The next date for the sewing and knitting group are:

Newcomers' Movie Night

Keep the advised evening free to go to the movies!
After the movie, come to Chequers Cafe for coffee, tea, cake.
This is an opportunity to relax and enjoy seeing a movie together before the Seasonal Rush begins!

Meet at 1:30pm on the Amphitheatre Steps on the riverbank next to Raupo's Cafe, the river end of High Street, Blenheim.
Come and join us for a short walk along the path beside the riverbank.
Babies and buggies would be welcome.
It's an easy path to push a pram/baby buggy along or for children to walk/ride bikes.
Coffee or tea at Raupo's Cafe after the walk, if you like.
If it is raining, we will meet for a coffee and chat at Raupo's Cafe at 1:30pm.

Meet in the children's enclosed / fenced playground for a coffee and chat,
while your children play.
Bring the children, togs (swimming suit) and towel to the swimming pool in Kinross Street, Blenheim and cool off in the pool.
Cost $1.50 per child (no extra cost for parent to get in the pool with a small child) or $8.00 for a family.
Pack a picnic (food to eat for your dinner) and join friends at Pollard Park, Blenheim, for a social gathering together.
Meet on the grassed area next to the Children's playground.
Picnic cancelled if raining.
Guest speaker: Burie Lily from Papau New Guinea will share her life story.
Please come along and join others for a pot luck dinner.
Bring your familiy and something to share to eat.
A wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share experiences.
